This release includes support for auto activation on macOS 27. When Settings > Activation > Auto Activation > Other Apps is enabled Typeface will automatically activate fonts when opening documents in native macOS apps.

Due to permission restrictions on macOS 27 an additional helper app is available to enable auto activation for the Mac App Store version of Typeface. This helper app listens for font requests and securely forwards them to Typeface. It’s not necessary for the Standalone and Setapp versions. Learn more
